"We Walk by Faith, Not by Sight"

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7
Walking by faith isn’t just a phrase—it’s a way of life, a mindset, and a spiritual posture. You may have heard “We walk by faith, not by sight,” but what does it truly mean? Let’s explore this powerful concept and how it can transform your life.
Believing in the Unseen
Walking by faith means trusting in what you cannot see or touch. It’s having a deep belief in a higher power, a purpose, or a plan, even when the future is unclear. This kind of faith requires courage, strength, and a willingness to relinquish control. Just as Moses “endured, as seeing Him who is invisible,” faith empowered him to act boldly, perceiving God with the eyes of his heart (Hebrews 11:27).
Embracing Uncertainty
Life is filled with unknowns and challenges. Choosing to walk by faith means embracing the unknown with an open heart and mind. Instead of relying only on what you can see or understand, you open yourself to possibilities beyond your current circumstances. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…” (Proverbs 3:5–6).
Finding Peace in Chaos
Faith brings peace, even in the midst of chaos. Trusting in a higher purpose allows you to release the burden of trying to control everything. This surrender leads to freedom and serenity.
Overcoming Fear
Fear can hold us back from pursuing our dreams. Walking by faith means moving forward despite fear. This courage leads to growth, resilience, and deeper self-discovery.
Living with Purpose
Faith gives life meaning and direction. It helps you discover God’s will and live with purpose. God doesn’t want us to settle for a dry, uninspired existence—He calls us to fullness, power, and victory:
“I came that they may have life… and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
“…anyone who believes in Me will do even greater works…” (John 14:12)
But we can’t walk in supernatural victory while living by natural sight.
