Don't Limit God – Live by Faith

Don't Limit God – Live by Faith

Key Verse: “Yea, they turned back and tempted God and limited the Holy One of Israel.” – Psalm 78:41

Are You Limiting God?

Psalm 78:41 reveals how the Israelites hindered God’s plans through unbelief. Though God delivered them from Egypt, they still doubted His ability to lead them into the Promised Land. Like many believers today, they were saved—but not walking in the fullness of God’s promises.

Hebrews 3:19 – “So we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief.”

They chose comfort over calling, fear over faith. They reminisced about Egypt’s food and security instead of trusting the God who split the sea and rained down manna.

Complacency in the Church

Many believers are spiritually stagnant. Church attendance is high, but evangelism and action are low. Passivity in modern Christianity mirrors that of Israel. Content with provision, neglecting purpose.

A Call to Wake Up – Lessons from Esther

Esther risked her life for the sake of her people. Her story reminds us that ease is a dangerous deceiver. True faith arises not just in crisis—but in peace. When things are going well, do you still pursue God?

What defines you is not what you do under pressure, but what you do in prosperity.

David & God's Irrevocable Call

David sinned gravely, yet God restored him when he repented (Psalm 51). Romans 11:29 tells us, “The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.”

Yes, God will use you—but your choices carry consequences.

Faith That Looks Forward

Abraham was rich, but he didn’t settle. He lived in tents because his eyes were on an eternal city built by God (Hebrews 11:10). His story challenges us: Are we living for comfort or for the Kingdom?
